Phil: I wish I knew how to quit you.
The twirl..
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,
"Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." - Hebrews 13:5
I just found out that I wont be converted to a permanent employee at AMD, I have worked as hard as I can and the requisition will goto somebody else. I'm feeling a lot of anger and jealousy because I know it's my fault ultimately. The sting of rejection is fresh, but I rest assured knowing that He has plans for me. I've been given a 6 month extension until the end of the year. More then enough time for me to find a job. This is all part of his plan, I'm certain of it.
The job hunt is back on again, and it looks better this time around.
1st interview, money is probably going to be better and the position will definitely be a good learning experience and resume builder.
2nd interview, money is about the same as what I make right now but the potential to move up and to travel to new places is a nice bonus.
3rd interview..... eh. Sounds like another phone job. No thanks.
Funny thing about the 3 prospects is, one of them is exactly like my previous job and another one of them is located directly across the street from my previous job.
I hope I hear back from the first 2 companies.
I realize pitbulls/pitbull mixes are dangerous, but there's no doubt that they are cool looking dogs. Jinshil and I are considering adopting a kitten, but after being at the shelter I'm starting to reconsider. I can imagine that some of these animals have been "recycled" atleast once, the last thing they need is another person to abandon them. If I were to get a dog right now, it would have to be one of the Weimaraners(3rd picture down).
